Let me introduce myself…

My name is Lucky Jake. I didn't have a good life before I came to AGWC Rockin' Rescue . I was tied up in the backyard and beaten up on a daily basis. I didn't understand what I did wrong. I always wondered why people are so mean to me. On top of that, they dumped me at the Carson Animal Shelter. I was terrified. They wanted to put me down.

I was so happy when I was rescued by AGWC. I finally was treated with compassion and respect. Unfortunately my emotional wounds from the past haven't healed. I know that many people in this world are mean and I protect myself and the people I love from them. I would protect my family no matter what and try to bite strangers that come too close to them. This is exactly the reason why I haven't been adopted yet because people misunderstand where I'm coming from. I have been at AGWC for three years now but I hope one day somebody will come along and give me the loving home that I desire. I'm stressed out seeing so many other dogs come and go and I have to stay in my kennel. It breaks my heart.
