It is incredible how one small idea can grow into something truly special. AGWC, which stands for "Ady Gil World Conservation" is rooted in the belief that every sentient being deserves to live a happy life free of harm and abuse. We rescue animals from horrible situations where they have no hope or care, rehabilitate them, so that they have a brighter future ahead of them. We don't want to see healthy animals being put down in shelters. With a variety of active projects and amazing volunteer & staff, we harness our skills and resources to successfully achieve our goals and find forever homes for hundreds of dogs and cats every year.

WHAT IS THE ADOPTION PROCESS?

The first step is to brows our website and Instagram to see all the available animals. Once you know which dog(s), Cat(s) or Rabbit(s) you are interested in meeting, you can email us your application and you can schedule an appointment to come and meet the dogs. Please include a few pictures of your home environment (backyard, balcony, etc.) when emailing your application. Once the meet and greet took place and you would like to move forward with the adoption, the last step of the adoption process is a home visit in person. We care where the animal will end up. We have seen horrible conditions that animals live in, and we are avoiding those. For example, we will not adopt a dog to a person using them for a fight.

WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AGE TO VOLUNTEER?

We only accept adult people as volunteers. 18 years of age is minimum.

People with children are welcome to attend public events at our facility. Follow us on Instagram for event updates.

CAN I ORGANIZE A FUNDRAISING EVENT FOR AGWC ROCKIN' RESCUE?

DO YOU TAKE OWNER SURRENDERS OR FOUND ANIMALS?

Unfortunately our rescue is currently at capacity, so we are not able to take in more animals at this time.
